MetaYeda Insights: How to build a compelling Enterprise presence in the Metaverse?
Insights by Elhanan Gazit, Ph.D., juloot Founder: An empty virtual office may damage your Brand's image and credibility in users' eyes. Think Fast, Level-UP Smart.
ArentFox Schiff's Metaverse office opened for business last month. The law firm offers its services virtually via Decentraland, a decentralized virtual reality platform powered by the Ethereum blockchain. Source: Bruce Love for LAW.com.
The short video clip preview of ArentFox Schiff’s Decentralad Office shows a 3D virtual office building with five floors. The office includes a foyer. The first four floors of the office are empty. They have only murals with text slogans describing the company's legal areas of practice and activities.
Watch the transition to the virtual conference room on the fifth floor occurs after the avatar types in the password. It includes an interactive component and a visual animation of a staircase built in real-time, leading to a designed meeting room with a large desk and several chairs.
What can we learn from examining the video clip closely?
ArentFox Schiff’s virtual office visitors can not engage with the Brand through immersive experiences. There are no incentives, feedback loops, or rewards. Hence, the level of interactivity for visitors to the office could be much higher.
There needs to be an element of a structured welcoming. The visitors are the potential customers. Does the Law firm’s have artificial intelligence A.I bots?
There is no advantage in displaying slogans on a wall in a 3D virtual office over a website page. Show your selected clients' successful case studies in a 3D interactive manner.
That is not the way to build a wall! Yoram Arbel.
Yoram Arbel is a notable Israeli football TV broadcaster. Why does his iconic phrase "That is not the way to build a wall!" after the National soccer team conceded a goal from a penalty kick, relevant to our video clip analysis?
An empty virtual office may damage your Brand's image and credibility in users' eyes.
Readings some of the comments on the law firm's video clip echoed that impression.
There is a better form of how to build a solid Metaverse presence for your Brand. Ask us how
Building a compelling Enterprise presence in the Metaverse calls for a strategic framework. For example, one must do more than transfer the Brand's content from the company website (Web 2.0) as is, to the decentralized Metaverse platform (Web 3.0 ). It would not work.
A Metaverse Strategy includes:
Define your Brand's GOALS (long-term and short terms goals).
Explore and Map the Multiverse (Metaverse platforms) landscape.
Analyze the pro and cons of the Metaverse platforms.
Build and create a DIGITAL STRATEGY to achieve the Brand's objectives: Defining milestones, ROI, and ROE (Return of Engagement) success parameters.
Harness the powers of the Metaverse medium by using Gazit's Game-thinking Compass Strategy (GCS).
Next, Gamify your visitors' experiences with authentic and fun challenges highlighting your Brands services.
What is Gamification?
Gamification applies a gameful mindset and the principles and mechanisms derived from video games in anything that is not a game by definition to motivate, boost engagement and loyalty, improve processes and outcomes, and solve big problems. Elhanan Gazit, Ph.D.
Enhance your visitors' agency by designing immersive experiences.
Design the Hero's Journey for your visitors.
Incorporate A.I. bots technology to personalize the experiences for your visitors.
Build a relationship. Give the visitors incentives to revisit your virtual office/ experience.
Deploy a Gameful Mindset. Accept failure as success, and learn from your mistakes.
Finaly, always keep in mind that
“The Metaverse evolution is a Marathon, not a 100 Meter sprint dash. We have an unprecedented lifetime opportunity to build it. Together.”
Think Fast, Level-UP Smart.
